About us
Al-Khan Engineering Consultations was established in 2009 under Iraqi Engineers Union licence No. 736. We develop creative, cost-effective designs for housing complexes, shopping malls and commercial centres, infrastructure facilities, roads and bridges, together with the related mechanical and technical services.
We give our clients technical solutions, up-to-date systems, modern technology, robust budget modelling and detailed construction documents — everything a project needs to move successfully from concept to operation.
Our people
Managing Director
PhD in Civil Engineering (Structures), 2006. Licensed Consultant Structural Engineer (unlimited) with Dubai Municipality, and former professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Baghdad.
Architecture & Urban Design
BSc Architectural and Urban Design Engineering, University of Baghdad. Over 16 years’ practice in project engineering management, housing, commercial and industrial architecture, and urban design and master-planning — from hospitals, universities and hotels to airports, ports and sustainable cities.
Senior Structural Engineer
More than twenty years in structural engineering, maintaining the highest performance standards across a diverse range of engineering functions using modern technology.
Architect · Project Manager
MSc Project Management and BSc Architecture, Isra University, Amman. Engineering consultant since 2016 on private-sector residential, commercial, school, mall and hotel projects. Member of the Federation of Arab Engineers, the Iraqi Engineers Union and the Jordan Engineers Association.
Architect · Urban Designer
BSc Architectural and Urban Design Engineering, University of Baghdad. Building design, feasibility studies, planning legislation, environmental impact, permissions, reports and contracts — working closely with services engineers, construction managers and quantity surveyors.
Our story
Historically, a khan was a courtyard building on the great trade routes of Mesopotamia — a place where travellers, merchants and craftsmen met, exchanged knowledge and moved forward together. It was defined by clear geometry, solid construction and generous shared space.
Al-Khan Engineering Consultations carries that idea into modern practice. We are a meeting point between client ambition and technical rigour: a consultancy that listens, plans carefully and delivers designs that are built to last.
